As per the latest update about electricity bills:


In response to increasing electricity thefts and the onset of summer, Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration (LESA) is launching a campaign. With temperatures rising, there’s a surge in power demand, making this drive crucial.

LESA will crack down on power defaulters using Meter Reading Instrument (MRI) to identify them. Defaulters will face penalties equivalent to a year’s electricity bill. Enforcement raids will target these users. However, those acknowledging their fault and willing to pay may receive concessions and avoid legal action by LESA.
